When you visit RinggitWise, our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics tools may automatically collect:

4.1 Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to RinggitWise and other sites. This allows Google and its partners to serve ads based on your interests.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
4.2 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised information about your interactions. IP anonymisation is enabled. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
4.3 Affiliate Partners
Some links on our site (e.g., "Get Free Quote" buttons on the Insurance page) are affiliate links. When you click these and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay. Affiliate partners may set their own cookies; their privacy policies govern those cookies.
4.4 Hosting Provider
Our website is hosted on Vercel Inc. (United States). Vercel processes server logs (including IP addresses) to provide hosting and security services. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months for support and quality purposes. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained per Google's default settings (14 months). You may request earlier deletion at any time.

- Delete your data (right to erasure)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.3), secure hosting infrastructure, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
RinggitWise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside Malaysia, including the United States (via Vercel and Google services). Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
